Prelim moved its New York team into a furnished Chelsea office with strong natural light after Nomad matched the economics of a competing proposal.
The challenge
Prelim, a fintech that automates business account opening for banks, wanted its own office with strong natural light, furniture in place and flexibility. Another party was bidding on the same space, and the prior tenant’s exit had to be finalized before Prelim could get access.
What Nomad did
We toured options and bid on the team’s favorite, the building with the best natural light. We worked through lease redlines with Prelim’s legal team, managed e-signature, wires and insurance, and coordinated the prior tenant’s exit and early access for vendors.
The negotiation
Nomad matched the economics of a competing proposal and secured the space fully furnished.
The result
A furnished office in Chelsea. Early access came in late April, and the lease started in May 2026.
