With a massive capital raise in the rearview, Kangaroo now needed to expand on all fronts in an expeditious manner. With aggressive hiring on the horizon, Kangaroo needed to move into a significantly larger space that they could occupy for the foreseeable future. Further, they required a space located in the Union Square submarket.
They needed a space for 25 – 30 employees, 1-private office, and a large board room for team meetings.
After meeting the team and understanding their needs, our team put together a tour of four spaces in the Union Square area. After our initial tour, the team had a clear winner. It was a 4,500 square foot space located on 18th Street; a 5-min walk from Union Square Station.
The space had large windows, hardwood floors and loft ceilings. The space was pre-wired and hit the buildout requirements to a tee.
The entire transaction, from seeing the space to moving in, was completed within 30-days.
